A Hidden Gem in Asakusa: NINJA BAR

As you can probably tell by the name, this NINJA BAR is a bar with ninja. 

It’s not just a ninja bar, it’s a bar where you can meet people, so whether you’re a first-time visitor, a solo customer, or a tourist, you’re welcome. 

The bartender here is a ninja, but he’s friendly and kind, so feel free to talk to him. 

How to Find NINJA BAR

The location is underground and a little difficult to find it, so I’ll explain with photos. 

Go down the stairs leading to the basement in front of Tobu Railway Asakusa Station and turn left at the end. 

If you turn left, you will immediately come across the road, so turn right there! 

I think you can see a blue glow at the back of this street.

That’s exactly where NINJA BAR is.

A Mix of Patrons

Most of the customers here are in their 20s and 30s. 

My impression is that about half of the customers are Japanese and half are foreign. 

There are people from many different countries, including Japanese, whites, blacks, Asians, and Hispanics. 

Many of the customers who come to this bar are easy to talk to, both foreigners and Japanese, so just try talking to them and have a look. 

There are also more Japanese customers who can speak English than other bars. 

And the bar here really allows you to talk to everyone, so I think there are many people who come here who want to talk to other people. 

There are a lot of good customers, but if there’s a bad one, just tell the ninja bartender and have he kills them lol .

Kazoo

I introduced this bar on my Japanese blog to increase your chances of meeting new people 

There’s a karaoke place opposite the bar, so it’s a good idea to have fun there and make friends. 

Music brings people closer together, and the place is a place where it’s easy to talk to each other. 

It’s across the street, but it’s the same ninja bar, so you can come and go as you like. 

It seems that after finishing the bar, sometimes everyone goes somewhere else for drinks. 

It seems like there will be more chances to meet people 

For food, if you order a drink, you can take one snack, but there is no other food available, so I recommend eating somewhere else before going. 

Drink prices are reasonable, so it’s easy to go. 

Why not try meeting someone in a slightly different space than usual?
