As of 2024, Hobo Shinjuku Norengai have 13 stores in the main area and 7 stores in the warehouse annex.
The main area has separate restaurants and pubs, while the warehouse annex operates with the restaurants connected to each other within the warehouse.
It’s in a great location as it’s right in front of Yoyogi Station and within walking distance from Shinjuku.
When I went there for drinks, only Japanese people were there, so it’s a little-known spot.
There are certain foods that I recommend, and I often take my foreign friends there, and they all have good reviews, so it’s Japanese food that everyone should try at least once.

This is a place where you can order eel from a piece just like yakitori, so it’s also recommended for people who want to try eel for the first time but don’t know if you can eat a portion for one person,
In Japan, eel is an expensive food that is only eaten when you want to feel a little extravagant, but since it is so easy to eat at the restaurant, I would like everyone to try it.
There is also a counter table, so you might have a nice encounter with Japanese people,
This area has a Japanese atmosphere, and there are many terraces, so you can spend your time in a slightly different way than in other areas.
And there are many other restaurants, so it’s fun to find one you like.
There are various restaurants such as beef tongue, yakitori, seafood, yakiniku, sushi, monjayaki, etc., so it’s good to see what you like.
